Who We Are
What is The Coy Community Project, Inc?

The Coy Community Project, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization rooted in the rural community, led by dedicated professionals and native residents with extensive experience in federal government, military service, education administration, higher education, and private enterprise.
United by a commitment to positive change, the organization aims to transform a 5,400-square-foot former community school building into a vibrant center for essential services and programs. This initiative is supported by a network of individuals, partnerships, and organizations from both the public and private sectors.

Our Purpose
Mission
The mission of the Coy AL Community Project, Inc. is to enhance the quality of life and restore hope for all residents of the Coy area, regardless of age or ability. We strive to achieve this by developing a community center that provides essential resources and services—including emergency and disaster relief, as well as support for seniors, veterans, and families.
Located in Wilcox County, Alabama's Black Belt Region
Coy faces significant challenges due to socioeconomic hardship and limited resources. Our commitment is to address these challenges and foster a stronger, more resilient community.
